Information Environment in Pakistan

          The surrounding in which person lives creates an environment around him. If we live in a clean surrounding our environment will be good. We will enjoy good health and good life. Islam lays great stress on cleanliness. It has been made part of the faith. Dirty surrounding cause pollution. The environment is also polluted by smoke and filth, which cause serious diseases.
          Over the last few years pollution had increased a lot. In big cities, like Lahore, Gujranwala, Karachi, Multan and Rawalpindi it is still increasing. The urban areas are the most affected ones. Everyday smoke pollutes the air and makes it injurious to health.
          Lack of education, unhygienic condition, smoke, dirt, foul smell and noise are responsible for the pollution of environment. If we become conscious of keeping our homes and streets clean, the environment can improve a lot. It will also improve the life style. We should all help to keep our classrooms and our schools neat and clean to create a healthy environment.
          The factories working in the urban areas should be shifted outside the cities. We should grow more trees and plants in our houses, lawns and other places where plants can grow. We should not cut down trees. We should grow trees and plants in our schools.
          The impact of various pollutants on air, water, soil and food has greatly affected the health. Traffic is one of the causes of pollution in big cities. Good climate has healthy effects on human life.
          We can control the pollution in our houses by using in place of petrol and oil. We should also grow more and more trees. Cutting of trees should not be allowed. Throwing of waste in the rivers should be checked by the health department. The World Environment day is observed on 5th of june every year throughout the world. We, as a Muslim, should keep every corner of our houses, streets and neighoourhood clean and tidy.
